DNA-based analysis identifies risk factor for metastasis of uveal melanoma

DNA-based analysis of cytogenetic abnormalities identified correlations of clinical features in patients with uveal melanoma—namely, that larger ocular melanomas and older patient age are associated with increased risk for metastasis.
