Wear a hat to farm day

A DAY on the Farm will be held this month at Wehlston Farm in Rosevale to raise money for vital melanoma research. The event was created in memory of the late Peter Wehl, a farmer, husband, son and grandfather who lost his battle with melanoma in February.

900km walk from Sydney to Melbourne on Saturday 26th July

Congratulations to Jay Allen and Andrew Rust who completed their 900km walk from Sydney to Melbourne on Saturday 26th July. The pair have raised over $160,000 for melanoma research. Their amazing achievement was celebrated in Melbourne at the Peter Mac Callum Cancer Centre and again at the Melbourne Cricket Club.

Survivors in 900km walk

AFTER 12 months of training and preparation, two cancer survivors are set to walk from Sydney to Melbourne in a bid to fight the disease. Jay Allen and Andrew Rust, who were diagnosed with stage three and four melanoma respectively, have already raised almost $50,000 for the Melanoma Institute Australia.
